Thistledew Cottage

You'll have room for the whole family at Thistledew Cottage on beautiful Lake James, a 1200-acre lake in northeastern Indiana with lots of space for swimming, fishing, boating and skiing. Weekly or monthly rentals are available through the summer. Shorter rentals are available before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

Located 6 miles north of Angola, IN, access to your lake vacation rental home is easy with nearby exits off the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90, Exit 144) and I-69 (exit 150).  The house is within easy walking distance of Lake James/Jimmerson Lake 4 Corners and Tom's Donuts, The Corner Landing, Waterfront Bistro, Acapulco Mexican Grill, Club Paradise and others.

Thistledew Cottage is a large lakefront single-story home that is divided into two units, each with its own kitchen and bath. 

The front Unit A is a 4 BR with 1-1/2 baths and comfortably sleeps 10. 

The back unit, Unit B, is the original cottage with a combined kitchen/bunk room that sleeps 4 and has a small bath and a sitting/eating area.  The two units can be rented separately or combined to accommodate a larger group.

Please note: beginning in 2025 we will only rent the whole house which includes the original cottage (4 bunks, full kitchen, 1 bath) and the front addition (4 BR + 1.5 BA, full kitchen and large great room).  The combined Unit A and Unit B will comfortably sleep 14. .
